A troubled teenager shoots up a high school baseball game. Families are devastated and the community is outraged. To ambitious deputy district attorney Lindy Field, the case looks like a slam dunk. Bell renders a powerful mix of mystery, suspense and courtroom drama. Through the eyes of emotionally engaging characters, he deftly and soothingly explores an incendiary issue.
