The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction is the second-longest running SF magazine published in the U.S. First published in 1949, it appears eleven times per year. As the title states, the content includes both fantasy and science fiction. Though it has glossy covers, the pages are printed on newsprint. There are some ads, but much fewer than is the case with most magazines. The size is equivalent to a thin trade paperback (5" x 8".)
